Any fan of the original Star Wars trilogy worth his salt would agree that Han Solo and his wookie comrade trumphs any Jedi out there. Even though The Old Republic is set thousands of years before the events of the films doesn’t make the fake that smugglers are just plain cool any less prominent. The release of the Star Wars: The Old Republic Intro Cinematic Trailer can attest to the greatnessthat a calm and cool smuggler can bring to the setting. So much, in fact, that several gamers are more interested in smuggler, commando, bounty hunter, and other decidedly non-jedi classes.
One year after the world was shown the first teaser trailer for “Grand Theft Auto V”, Rockstar Games released the second trailer for the upcoming fifth installment of their popular open-world franchise full of crime and car-jacking on Wednesday. The trailer shows off the new feature that “Grand Theft Auto V” is bringing to the series which is the fact that gamers will control three separate characters this time around as opposed to a single protagonist.
“Grand Theft Auto V” is scheduled to release in the spring of 2013.

Gearbox Software released patch notes to an update for the PC version of “Borderlands 2” this past Tuesday that included a fix to the controversial Bee shield. The legendary drop allowed players with full shields to continuously punish foes with massive amounts of damage, thus giving fans the ability to down the game’s massive boss fights in mere seconds. Some upset about the change are calling the patch a nerf, while Gearbox Software simply says they fixed a broken piece of gear in the game.
‘Mass Effect 4′ will be developed by a different studio with a new engine
by David Stonecipher on November 15, 2012 at 12:04 am
Bioware announced on Monday that the next “Mass Effect” title won’t be developed by their Edmonton based studio as all previous games of the franchise have been. Instead, Bioware Montreal will be taking over control as the new development team for the developer’s hit science fiction epic. Bioware’s Montreal studio isn’t unfamiliar with the space RPG series, as they are the team responsible for the “Mass Effect 3’ multiplayer mode as well as many of the game’s cutscenes. The studio head in charge of the next “Mass Effect”, Yanick Roy, had the following to say.
The other thing I can tell you is that, while it will be very respectful of the heritage built over the course of the first three games, with the original trilogy now concluded and the switch over to a new engine, we are exploring new directions, both on the gameplay and story fronts. You can still expect the pillars the franchise is known for to be fully intact though, including diverse alien races, a huge galaxy to explore, and of course rich, cinematic storytelling.

Another ‘Borderlands 2′ DLC pack coming by year’s end
by David Stonecipher on November 11, 2012 at 4:37 am
Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software, confirmed that the next “Borderlands 2” DLC will be releasing by the end of this year. DLC for the game has releases at a steady pace since the title’s September release. Another add-on releasing before the new year leaves the add-on less than two months left in this year to come out in, meaning fans will likely see the release of the game’s next downloadable content next month. It isn’t clear whether this new coming DLC will be a part of the “Borderlands 2” season pass or not, but Pitchford stated that details on the DLC will come soon. Later this morning he went on to tweet that a new DLC will come before another character class for the game, confirming that the next “Borderlands 2” add-on will not be the game’s sixth playable class.
